About The Position The Supervisor, Distribution Operating is responsible for supervising, developing, and evaluating the Troublemen or traveling operators engaged in emergency response and routine work on the electrical distribution system. Key responsibilities include:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Five or more years of journeyman level experience in distribution, construction, and maintenance required with supervisory or team leadership experience preferred OR five or more years relevant experience in a utility, heavy industrial, or military environment including a minimum of three years in a supervisor role required. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Must have demonstrated leadership, communications, and human relations skills. This position is subject to emergency call-outs and/or rotation of standby emergency duty. After preliminary review, selected applicants must take the First Line Supervisor Test or equivalent and obtain a recommended status in order to be eligible for additional selection procedures (e.g., interview) designated for this position. This position requires employee background check according to NERC guidelines. Additional InformationAmeren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include candidate testing and/or an individual aptitude or skill-based assessment. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates. Compensation Range: $102,500.00 - $158,900.00At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
