Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell's Connectivity Business Unit supports customers' leading infrastructure with Marvell's electrical and optical high-speed connectivity portfolio for Data Center and AI application. This role is specifically for PCIe interconnect products. Acting as the primary line of defense, PCIe application engineering team review customer designs, provide SW/HW/Systems levels support, and resolve customer reported issues with a direct impact to revenue. Applications engineering team works with state-of-the-art process nodes and technology enabling next-gen AI and datacenter applications that get deployed at major cloud customers.

What You Can Expect

  • Proactively & efficiently support Marvell's PCIe interconnect products.

  • Manage a team of Application Engineers and drive team towards deliverables.

  • Act as the interface between the customer and Marvell engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Own and drive customer issues to resolution.

  • Collaborate with FAE's and PLM's to gather and communicate customer needs to marketing and engineering.

  • Occasional travel to industry events/customer sites is required (10-15%).

What We're Looking For

  • BS/MS/Phd in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 15+ years of experience

  • Experience in managing team of engineers is preferred.

  • Good understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), analog circuits and system hardware.

  • Lab experiences with PAM4 SerDes TX and RX validation is preferred

  • Good problem-solving skills & hands-on lab experiences.

  • Experience in PCIe interconnect devices is required including but not limited to PCIe Switch, Bridge, Retimer, Redriver...etc.

  • Prior experience as an Application Engineer working with customers to resolve customer issues is a plus.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with C and/or Python is a plus.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

176,130 - 263,900, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
