Job Summary Responsible for the coordination, copywriting and quality control of multi-purpose content (print and digital) and publications to be leveraged across Prisma Health and its affiliates. Serves as and manages the voice of the health system, targeting its patients, guests, prospective patients, clinicians, leadership and team members. Effectively communicates with a variety of targeted audiences. Ensures consistency in accuracy, style, tone and brand voice to deliver integrated messaging designed to advance the organization's image, as well as its strategic and growth objectives. Collaborates within the department to ensure clarity of messaging by audience to achieve desired results. Manages the team of in-house content developers and editors (and freelancers, as needed), producing patient education and informational materials, business collaterals, marketing and promotional collaterals, advertising and web content. Develops and implements strategies, tactics and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of multi-platform communications, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget.
Essential Functions

Manages the system-wide quality, consistency, accuracy and brand voice of multi-purpose content across all platforms; includes traditional and online/web/mobile/digital media. Ensures scalability for organizational growth. Provides editorial development, guidance and coordination of all content to ensure integrity and appropriateness of copy as it relates to various targeted audiences and strategic goals. Creates and/or edits content for patient education and information, business collaterals, marketing, advertising and promotional needs. Fosters environment of superb, idea-based, concept-driven creative content development. Participates in collaborative planning and project status meetings within department to enhance communication, efficiency and achievement of goals. Leads and takes responsibility for editorial team assignments and workloads to ensure maximum resource utilization and productivity. Identifies process improvement opportunities (i.e., templates) and implements changes as needed. Regularly audits multi-format publications and content vehicles, partnering with Marketing Research and Analytics lead, to ensure effectiveness. Makes adjustments, as needed. Interfaces with Interpretation Services lead to make content available in other languages. Provides a language helpline for the organization. Stays within defined budgetary allocations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of employees that may include final budget authority, hire/termination/disciplinary authority, performance appraisal responsibility. Job will be considered a member of the management staff with direct reports.
Minimum Requirement
Education - Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field of study. Master's degree preferred Experience - Five (5) years of experience in successful content development and editorial services in marketing and communications environment.
