As a Security Officer - Armed Manufacturing Patrol in Wilmington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to respond promptly to incidents and interact professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, address concerns as they arise, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas as required by site protocols.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security experience.
• Must have a combined total of at least 3 years of law enforcement, military, or security experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program, or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet AU driver policy requirements.
• Must hold a valid Corrections Officer License.
• Must hold a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
