Job Description

Starting Pay: $24.00 / hour

The training officer in this position will be responsible for training security officers at a client site on CPR/AED, required on the job administrative trainings, and vehicle driving training. Must also be able to assist with scheduling officers for their shifts.

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license, great computer skills, great communication skills, and must be willing to become a certified CPR/AED trainer to train security officers on CPR/AED

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Ensure compliance with all required portfolio training, which involves driving compliance efforts and coordinating training classes with the Portfolio Vice President, Area Directors, Regional Training Director, and Regional Trainers across the portfolio.
  • Deliver field training programs in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, as well as Allied Universal standards in support of Regional Trainers.

  • Conduct Mobility Devices (e.g., vehicles) training

  • Conduct CPR/First Aid/AED Certifications

Knowledge and Skills Required:

* Ability to work independently with little to no direct supervision.

* Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients.

* Ability to write manuals, review, and respond to written requests for proposals, training documents, and prepare extensive presentations is required.

* Highly proficient and fully functional in Microsoft programs such as Word and PowerPoint and able to effectively utilize all available office management technology.

* Demonstrated ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines.

* Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21+ years of age
  • * Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing as required to include, but not limited to:

    o CPR/First Aid/AED Certified Instructor

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
    *A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
