Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while addressing any concerns that arise. This role requires upholding the highest standards of professionalism, teamwork, and integrity, reflecting our commitment to putting people first and delivering reliable service.

Pay Rate: $15.91 / Hour

Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Tue 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and information, while remaining alert to any security-related incidents.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual activities according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
