Position Responsibilities

Are you motivated by helping customers achieve their strategic goals? Do you enjoy enabling others and problem solving? Within Deltek ComputerEase Consulting, this is where our passion lies. You are an excellent fit with us if you share these passions and you are a self-motivated, hands-on team player. You will be a part of a team of consultants who successfully implement customers on our ComputerEase product, from point of sale to post go live.

Ideally, you have prior experience in implementing our ComputerEase software and/or implementing ERP software solutions. We encourage our consultants to be comfortable being proactive in their approach to problem solving and to be able to work closely with project managers and other internal team members to help bolster their success. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, along with the ability to creatively find ways to work around challenges.

Your Role and Impact
Support ComputerEase project delivery - both implementations to successfully configure and setup ComputerEase, as well as post live strategic and best practice consulting support.

  • Liaise closely with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assess and make recommendations for best practice business process workflow design or re-design to customers.
  • Provide consulting expertise to sales on quotes for consulting services.
  • Identify and resolve customer challenges, liaising with the project manager and delivery director when applicable.
  • Use a comprehensive and extensive understanding of ComputerEase to be able to resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Keep apprised of ComputerEase updates/new releases.
  • Understand industry accounting principles and their application to the Deltek ComputerEase product line.
  • Work within budget and time frame requirements for completion of each project.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation and entrepreneurship.
  • Display excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related job experience
  • ComputerEase Experience is preferred
  • Four (4) years or more of implementation experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong understanding of, or experience with, accounting principles, project cost accounting and project management is required
  • Knowledge of Construction Industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP solution implementation is preferred
  • Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office Projects
  • Prior travel-related experience preferred

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $68,500.00 - $100,000.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
