AGE Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer. In this role, you will support the design, development and deployment of cloud cyber security solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment. You will be part of a high-power team proving out a prototype for production at full scale. This position requires an understanding of major cloud platforms and technologies as well as the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. This is a Hybrid position located in Arlington, VA. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement NOC and SOC capabilities.
- Design and enforce robust network security.
- Troubleshoot complex cloud and network issues.
- Collaborate and communicate across teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience:
- Eight (8) years of general experience in cloud engineering roles or a related field
- Citizenship and Clearance:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and the willingness to obtain a TS/SCI Eligibility
- Certifications:
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
- Implement NOC tools and operations including system/network monitoring, incident management, and service health tracking
- Implement SOC tools and methodologies, including SIEMs (e.g., Sentinel, Splunk), vulnerability scanning, and cloud security best practices
- Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals (firewalls, DNS, VPN, routing protocols)
- Familiarity with Zero Trust security architecture and cloud-native security tools
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
- CISSP or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with Special Access Program security requirements

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.
Compensation: $190,000 - $198,000
