As a Temporary Associate Product Manager, you will support the Field of Play footwear team in their execution of the global product plan for Softball and Volleyball. Working closely with the team, you will function as a key contributor to the initiation, design, development and confirmation of products which will provide the unique opportunity of supporting a diverse group of businesses.

Role is based out of our Boston, MA Headquarters. This is a 5-6 month temporary assignment.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Conduct market research, focus groups and analyze consumer trends to identify opportunities for new product development.
  • Assist with evaluating prototypes and in-line products, making recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Assist with preparing product briefs, forecasts, costing and market issues while working with the team to manage projects
  • Perform data entry into product line management system. Own and lead all products systems while adhering the team to milestones on the product creation calendar
  • Present product direction to internal stakeholders and regional partners at key check points within the product development calendar

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in product management, preferably in the footwear or fashion industry.
  • Knowledgeable and have a genuine passion for footwear and athletic industry
  • Expert on consumer trends and their connection to sport and cultural moments
  • Ability to think critically and provide constructive insight in a collaborative environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Passion for footwear and a keen eye for design and trends.

Flexible Work Schedule
