We have a direct-hire Senior Advisory Technical Project Manager position that will support the Armed Overwatch Program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This is an exceptional chance for you to have a direct and daily impact on the success of a high-profile, rapid acquisition program supporting Special Operations Command. In this role, you will advise on logistics of new aircraft that support special operations personnel and provide support to Program Management. Responsibilities

    Advise Program Management Office (PMO) on acquisition management requirements.
  • Determine requirements across life cycle of major U.S. Air Force weapons systems and advise PMO on appropriate courses of action.
  • Assist the Program Manager in creating and presenting briefings and reports on status to the Program leadership and other U.S. Dept. of Defense officials as required.
  • Provide input for the development of formal contract documentation to include Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Government Cost Estimates, and Funding Document Requests.
  • Provide acquisition support to Light Attack Aircraft Program Management Office.


Education/Qualifications

Required:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and posses active U.S. Dept. of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, etc.
  • 5+ years of project management experience including cost schedule performance.
  • 15+ years of U.S. Dept. of Defense acquisition experience including U.S. Air Force major weapon systems.
  • Experience contributing to U.S. Dept. of Defense Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Government Cost Estimates, and Funding Document Requests.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage resources, and work collaboratively.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to support up to 20% travel.
    • Typical trips are 1 week to TX or OK.

Preferred:

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Any Defense Acquisition University (DAU) coursework and/or certification.
