The payroll-HR coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Community payroll processes by handling various payroll-related tasks. It also provides Human Resources (HR) related services to support the essential HR functions and administer the Community benefits programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and considered essential functions of the position:

* Maintains employee timekeeping data such as hours worked and non-worked using the current timekeeping system.

* Review hours computed and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of payroll and records changes affecting net wages, such as exemptions and insurance coverage, for each employee to update master payroll records.

* Records data concerning the transfer of employees between departments.

* Prepares periodic reports on earnings, hours worked, sick days, and vacation days as needed by the department supervisor or executive director.

* Answers employee questions and or concerns regarding their paycheck and benefits.

* Assists in the new hire process for staff, including onboarding paperwork such as tax forms, direct deposit, and timekeeping training, and maintains HR files in compliance with company policy and labor law requirements.

* Reconcile monthly benefit billings, verify eligibility, and process new enrollments and terminations.

* Perform all other related duties as assigned.
