The estimated base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $105,000 per year.
Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

Reporting to the Graphic Design and Production Supervisor, this role is responsible for collaborating with Marketing professionals on the design and production of marketing assets, including but not limited to advertisements, brochures, digital assets, one-pagers, signage, and product labels. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in graphic design, ensuring high-quality execution of designs across various digital, traditional, and experiential mediums.

What You'll Do

  • Create visually appealing designs for digital and print media, including emails, social media, programmatic display, print advertisements, brochures, signage, and more.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to ideate around creative concepts and ideas to achieve desired marketing strategy and campaign goals.
  • Encourage fresh ideas and design inspiration
  • Mentor and empower other designers and elevate team standards
  • Deliver high-impact results that fuel growth
  • Build upon and evolve brand guidelines to expand the visual identity
  • Stay current on AI advancements and explore ways to leverage AI tool in design processes
  • Ensure brand identity, message, look and feel are cohesive in creative deliverables and in compliance with Armstrong brand guidelines.
  • Deliver a final product with minimal edits that creatively inspires customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize a variety of digital design tools, ensuring inspiring and innovative ideas and campaigns.
  • Create templates and elevate visuals for internal and executive presentations.
  • Design marketing assets to support Sales Team and other customer touchpoints.
  • Design assets for compatibility with mobile, desktop, and tablet.
  • Create and export animated GIFs and HTML 5 animations.
  • Work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines across multiple projects.
  • Present work, as appropriate, to team members and stakeholders.
  • Leverage Project Management tool to self-manage creative outputs for day-to-day duties and update business partners of each project's progress, problems, and pending deadlines.

  • Demonstrate exceptional use of typography, color theory, and principles of design in all created pieces
  • Build and maintain knowledge of printing specifications (bleeds, packaging files, printer spreads, etc)
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Figma, and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with MAC operating systems, current applications, i.e. OS system
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify a problem and take the necessary steps to overcome it

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Senior-level designer with 5+ years of experience in graphic design
  • 1+ years in a mentorship role
