Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

The DevSecOps team is looking for a Software Engineer/DevSecOps Engineer to join this innovative team. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a deep understanding of the DevSecOps landscape and the ability to build and manage robust security and infrastructure solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Performs analysis for accuracy and efficiencies, effectively communicates analysis output.
  • System Testing - Thoroughly tests systems to ensure proper installation of new software, system changes, and overall efficiency. Evaluates and conveys testing results.
  • Processing Support - Provides technical support by performing coding, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve processing capabilities. Works closely with business units and operation teams to support their business objectives.
  • Technical Proficiency - Utilizes knowledge to develop or install appropriate computer software.
  • Provides 24/7 on-call support rotation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Programming OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Programming

Preferred skills:

  • 1 to 2 + years ofprofessional experience in roles related to DevSecOps, software engineering and development.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps methodologies, tools, and practices, with a focus on automation and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Working Knowledge in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment using DevSecOps tools and platforms, such as GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and security scanning tools.
  • Understanding of security principles and practices, incorporating security into the DevOps process.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and the ability to deploy and manage applications in a cloud environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with development, operations, and security teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address security challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

The base pay for this position is generally between $87,000 and $120,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
