Are you a skilled and detail-oriented Civil 3D Drafter looking to contribute to impactful projects in a supportive and growth-focused environment? DLZ Corporation invites you to join our dynamic Survey operations team in one of our Ohio offices.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Professional Surveyors, and Engineers across all project phases.
• Produce high-quality, complex drawings ranging from small to large scale.
• Conduct thorough field reviews to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform essential survey records research to support project development.
• Effectively manage project scope and schedules related to office-based survey tasks.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with internal staff and external clients.
• Execute all work and operate company equipment with a strong focus on safety and responsibility.
• Mentor and guide less experienced staff, contributing to team growth (based on your experience).
• Understanding and adhering to all public health and safety requirements and ensuring proper safety procedures are followed on site.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team's success.

What You'll Bring:

• High School diploma (required); Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• 1-3 years of proven experience in computer-aided drafting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (required).
• Foundational understanding of basic land surveying methods and procedures (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of basic land surveying methods and procedures.
• Experience working with MicroStation Open Roads software for processing field data and developing right-of-way plans.
• Completion of the Ohio Department of Transportation Right of Way Plan Development Course.
• Valid driver's license along with the ability to pass a background check, an MVR check, and a drug test
