This position reports to

IoT Digital Lead

Your role and responsibilities

Join our team as a Digital Ecosystem Manager to further develop and maintain the digital aspect of channel to market business with ABB Large Motors and Generators customers, including EPCs, OEMs, System integrators, ABB internal customers, end users and channel partners. In this role, you will introduce a new digital offering to the ABB internal sales channels, partners and support them to utilize new offering in their own business. You will also perform active target setting for the digital channel business, monitor and take required actions.
The work model for the role is: hybrid ; #LI-Hybrid
The role is contributing to the Motion / Large Motors and Generators division globally.
The ideal candidate is based in China (Shanghai), Finland (Helsinki) or Sweden (Vasteras)
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Digital Business Management & Sales Support - Oversee digital business partnerships, drive sales of digital services, and implement commercial frameworks for various industry stakeholders (OEMs, ABB units).
*Strategic Development & Implementation - Lead digital offering projects, define customer journeys, and ensure the integration of digital services into sales tools and market strategies.
*Technical & Commercial Execution - Establish technical interfaces (machine-to-machine, web-shop UI), close operational gaps between user needs and backend systems, and collaborate with technology teams.
*Performance Tracking & Marketing Support - Define key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor digital service sales, and assist in creating marketing materials that highlight partner value.

Qualifications for the role
  • 7-10 years overall work experience with 3+ years of experience in developing Digital Channel Business or Remote Monitoring Solutions in B2B Environments.
  • General knowledge of the applications and use cases for the large electrical machines.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
  • General understanding of the subscription and pay-per-use selling and invoicing methods in global B2B environment.
  • Understanding of the legal aspects for global digital offering sales
  • Basic knowledge of development and deployment options for analytics.
  • Good computer skills with UI design tools and methods (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD) and MS Office tools.
  • Customer-centric mindset, ability to influence without authority and work in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, communication experience with senior management and customers.
  • Creative, energetic, self-motivated, flexible team player with an ability to work independently.
  • Fluent English language skills, Chinese is a plus.
