FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday through Friday Position Summary The Point of Care (TC) is responsible to evaluate competency of moderate complexity testing. The POC Educator/TC serves as a resource to clinicians, educators and management for regulatory requirements. Work situations require moderate problem solving and analytical skills. This position is an intermediate-level position, working under limited supervision. Requirements Medical Technologist (MT, or MLS (ASCP), Bachelors of Science Must have access to a reliable vehicle; Current Washington Drivers License; and proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MHS Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state Minimum two (2) years of Clinical Laboratory experience: including test performance, quality control procedures and documentation, and specimen collection including capillary and venipuncture Experience with diagnostic laboratory instrumentation Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness.
