FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Clinic Hours Position Summary The Director of Clinical Operations supports the Clinical Nurse Executive by providing effective leadership for the development and administration of clinical operations creating a system that optimizes care delivery, efficiency, and effectiveness and continuously improves performance throughout the hospital. The Director assesses, plans, implements and evaluates all aspects of care/services delivered; ensures quality programs, patient safety and a level of customer experience that strives to exceed internal and external customer expectations; develops and mentors a high performing management team for all areas of responsibility; ensures financial viability by managing applicable revenue/ expenses with attention to supply cost utilization and a high level of productivity for areas under direct control to ensure identified service and financial benchmarks are met. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.
