The Role

Provide critical pre-tournament operational support for all Pro Circuit Tournament Directors and their staff, serve as Team Leader for the World Team Cup, and Assistant Tournament Director of US Open Wheelchair Championships.

Pro Circuit Team

    Support Pro Circuit Senior Manager in managing assigned events among 100+ tournaments.
    • Produce tournament information sheets and Completion of Sanction Applications for ATP and ITF.
    • Generate contracts for assigned tournaments.
    • Coordinate mailings of all Pro Circuit marketing tools, contracts, and post-tournament reports.
    • Maintain tournament information database.
    • Process tournament orders such as balls, ball person uniforms, and programs.
  • Communicate frequently with players with general circuit inquiries
  • Maintain various databases & filing systems
  • Catalog and maintain a listing of prospective sites
  • Organize and document online Tournament Director Evaluations
  • Conduct mailings for Pro Circuit team members
  • Assist with preparation for various workshops, conferences and staff meetings
  • Assist with US Open preparations
  • Organize and operate USTA Pro Circuit tournaments held at the USTA National Campus
    • Act as Tournament Director
  • Assist Player Development with tournament Wild Card program.
  • Communicate frequently with players with general circuit inquiries.

General

  • Maintain files and historical documents for Department
  • Responsible for organization and inventory of departmental storage areas
  • Working with USTA merchandise, coordinate promotional items and gifts for Department
  • Check requesting, invoicing and payment processing for Department
  • Other duties as assigned
Who You are
  • A proven track record of strong administrative and organizational skills a must
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated ability in project management and administration
  • Strong strategic thinker and self-starter
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must have exceptional MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Gmail skills
  • Position is non-exempt
  • This position is Orlando office specific and is designated as "hybrid/flex" and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements, as updated from time to time

The expected range for the base salary for this position is 45,000 - 47,000 and overtime eligible. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
