Adult Day Intern

The ADS Assistant is responsible for assisting in the coordination and implantation of a comprehensive adult day service program, including physical, social, spiritual, and therapeutic needs of the clients.

Assists in planning and facilitating the activities and events to meet client needs, prepares daily programs, and completes activity calendar. Ensures the adult day service equipment and supplies are maintained.

Qualifications Required

Strong desire to work with the elderly
• BLS Certification

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience in long term care
• Valid Driver's license appropriate for the type of vehicle assigned to operate

To qualify for the internship, applicants must be either

• between their junior & senior year of high school or
• enrolled in a 2- or 4-year post secondary health care degree program and may NOT be graduating in 2025

Internship may run for a minimum of 6 weeks to a maximun of 12 weeks between May 26, 2025 and September 1, 2025 and be either part- or full-time.
