Material Handler

• Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpack and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Lift heavy items as associated with job requirements.
• Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines. May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Basic Qualifications:

• You have a high school diploma or GED
• You can work within the United States without sponsorship. Rockwell will not sponsor for this role now OR in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgement in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Ability to undertake work with little instruction on daily tasks or being able to follow general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
• You are able to show substantial understanding of the job and apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
• You have experience interacting with peers and customers to achieve tasks at hand.
