The Role:

Join our global IT organization as a Senior IT Project Manager at our site in Bedford, MA to drive a critical objective within our IT programs. You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver innovative technology solutions that enhance our business operations, support product offering improvements, streamline operations, and support our worldwide workforce. This role is pivotal in advancing our internal IT capabilities, ensuring alignment with the organization's long-term strategic vision.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure proper alignment and success of critical Agile programs.

  • Act as a Scrum Master where necessary for some of the workstreams.

  • Oversee and mentor Scrum Masters, ensuring effective Agile practices and team performance.

  • Lead a cross-functional team of professionals across multiple time zones to deliver objectives and key results, while ensuring accountability.

  • Tailor and manage clear directional plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, to achieve on-time, within-budget outcomes.

  • Ensuring methodical transition and implementation of Agile practices for new to Agile organizations.

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, aligning with Program and Portfolio goals.

  • Adopt Predictive and Agile practices to execute iterative development cycles and adapt to changing needs.

  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving blockers to maintain project momentum and quality standards.

  • Operate Agile Programs within hybrid portfolio environments.

  • Deliver regular status updates to stakeholders, translating technical progress into business impacts.

  • Drive process optimization by integrating IT solutions (e.g., cloud platforms, AI tools) with internal workflows.

  • Ensure compliance with global IT standards, security protocols, and data governance policies.

What We Seek:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of project management experience in IT, leading complex, cross-functional projects.

  • Experience as an RTE in a multi scrum team environment.

  • Expertise in multidisciplinary project management leveraging a variety of methodologies.

  • Proficiency in IT systems (e.g., cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms) and data-driven decision-making.

  • Demonstrated skills in scope definition, risk management, and budget oversight for projects valued at $500K+.

  • Ability to align diverse stakeholders (e.g., technical teams, business units, leadership) across global regions.

  • Excellent communication skills for presenting actionable insights.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30% to key hubs as project needs dictate (Domestic US & Some International Travel).

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

  • Proficiency with tools like Jira / Confluence, Smartsheet, Miro, etc.

  • Expertise leading digital platform projects that connect customer data with internal teams like R&D and supply chain.

  • Clear understanding on how to guide an Agile transformation in varying stages of the Agile Journey.

  • PI Planning experience.

  • Scaled Agile RTE Certificate.

  • Expert skills in communication of project status to partners and executive leaders.

  • Proven success managing budgets exceeding $1M with a focus on resource optimization and ROI.

  • Experience with digitally focused programs, such as Platform development, AI integration, or cloud adoption.

  • Leadership experience building high-performing teams in dynamic settings.
