The Sr Talent Management Specialist role will coordinate and drive the achievement of key talent management goals. This individual will have a proven ability to collaborate, project plan, keep confidentiality, and implement company-wide program initiatives. This individual will support various aspects of talent programs, including performance management, recognition, talent reviews and succession planning, and the listening strategy (Engagement).

A Brief Overview

Primary responsibilities include being the subject matter expert (SME) focused on relationship building, collaboration and partnerships while acting as trusted advisor. This position provides day-to-day administration, execution, continuous improvement, and project management related to processes, vendors, communications and maintaining tools and resources. A successful candidate will remain curious and proactively seek ways for continuous improvement, efficiencies and effectiveness across talent processes and programs. As talent management practices continue to be refined across the enterprise, this individual will be comfortable with shifting priorities while keeping a positive attitude and demonstrating the Safelite Spirit.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the execution of key talent programs (performance management, engagement surveys, succession planning), acting as the subject matter expert and trusted partner to HR and business leaders.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and globally to manage tools, resources, communications, and timelines that ensure smooth program delivery and continuous improvement.

  • Serve as the liaison between business teams and Talent Analytics to define reporting needs and drive adoption of insights.

  • Manage vendor relationships, system updates, and process enhancements across talent platforms, with a focus on Workday.

  • Own the implementation and optimization of listening strategies (e.g., engagement, exit, and new joiner surveys), ensuring actionable outcomes and sustainable processes.

  • Support change management efforts, training, and communication strategies to drive engagement and program success.

  • Identify and solve issues proactively, using data and feedback to recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and impact.

What You'll Bring:

  • 4-6 years of HR or Talent experience

  • Strong knowledge of talent management practices and HR systems (Workday preferred).

  • Proven ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and drive process improvements.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

  • Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 4-6 years of relevant HR/Talent experience, including familiarity with key HR and Talent terms and processes (Required)

  • 1-3 years of Workday experience and knowledge, specifically in the talent space (Preferred)

  • 1-3 years Project management (Preferred)

  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
