The UJMT LAUNCH D43 training program is hiring a postdoc trainee for international research training in Malawi. The UJMT LAUNCH D43 is an NIH funded training program, administratively housed in the Institute for Global Health and Infectious Diseases, with a long history of success in training both US and international scholars and fellows. In this one-year position, the postdoc will travel to Malawi to conduct a mentored research project and will engage in other program activities as required by the UJMT LAUNCH D43 PI, mentors and program staff. This includes attending the research leadership academy, preparing an individual development plan, and completing responsible conduct of research training.

Doctoral degree (PhD, MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent)

Must be a current or incoming (within the next 12 months) UJMT LAUNCH D43 fellow

Experience with conducting research in international settings
Experience with preparation of manuscripts and abstracts
