Job Summary
The LPN Onsite Employer Services role is responsible for providing clinical, administrative, and laboratory services at Prevea employer sites. This position supports healthcare providers by performing patient rooming, conducting lab draws, and managing patient registration. This position is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.

What you will do



  • Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
  • Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner and check-in patients and verify that all necessary information is accurate and complete.
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients according to established protocol. Identifies and labels specimens. Assists in care of patient prior to, during, and after collection. Prepares equipment to efficiently collect blood products and cleans and maintains equipment in work area. Perform and maintain quality control safety checks on all Point of Care Testing equipment.
  • Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
  • Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations.
  • Maintain exams rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. Monitor vaccine and lab refrigerator temperatures. Monitor and manage expiration dates of supplies and medications. Order supplies/medications as needed and ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
  • Route medical inquiries, complaints & messages to appropriate parties.
  • Collect required payments, including co-payments, outstanding balances, and payments due at the time of service.
  • Instruct patients in all urine collection procedures and testing requirements and obtain and process urine specimen.


Experience Qualifications



  • Current clinical experience as a licensed practical nurse. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications



  • Valid Practical Nursing license issued by the state of WI Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/Basic Life support for Healthcare Providers certification from approved program Required
