We are working on a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 at home.

The Team:

As part of the Finance function, the Controllership team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate reporting of the company's financial results. The Finance function has strong business partnerships and influence throughout the company. We drive financially informed decisions in support of the company's strategic objectives. We are investing in advanced analytics capabilities to enhance our data-driven approach to problem solving. We are focused on process improvement to provide the most efficient transactional support for our customers, vendors, and employees. The Role:

The SEC Reporting Manager plays a critical role within the Controllership function by ensuring the accuracy of the Company's SEC filings and financial statements. In addition to overseeing the Company's SEC reporting function, this role is responsible for stock-based compensation accounting and assisting with other controllership tasks to ensure a strong internal control environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare periodic SEC filings (e.g., 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.

  • Develop key messaging and non-GAAP financial measures disclosed in SEC filings in collaboration with Investor Relations, and update disclosures based on peer benchmarking and industry trends.

  • Partner with legal, finance, tax, investor relations, and internal audit to ensure accuracy and alignment across all filings.

  • Manage accounting and disclosures for stock-based compensation (ASC 718), including valuation of stock options, RSUs, and PRSUs.

  • Ensure accuracy of financial reporting by performing ongoing financial statement analysis, including detailed review of balance sheet reconciliations and investigation unusual items.

  • Maintain SOX-compliant documentation and controls related to external reporting and other controllership responsibilities.

  • Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by coordinating with external auditors and preparing requested documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Highest standards for accuracy and meeting deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a big-picture mindset

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and technical accounting (e.g., revenue recognition, equity accounting, etc.)

  • Ability to communicate complex accounting topics to CFO and other senior leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and grow into broader leadership responsibilities within finance

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively cross-functionally

  • Process improvement mindset

Minimum education and work experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Master's Degree is a plus

  • CPA and large public accounting firm experience required, including a strong background with SEC clients

  • 6+ years professional experience in accounting is required

  • Proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Workiva, SAP, etc.) is a plus

  • Experience supporting audits and maintaining SOX-compliant controls is a plus
