KPMG is currently seeking a Managing Director in FS Risk, Regulatory & Compliance for our Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development efforts for the firm's primary target clients including bank regulatory and financial service company advisory engagements
  • Provide a key role for KPMG thought leadership efforts by contributing professional articles to industry and regulatory publications, including writing white papers on capital and Basel III implications, preparing regulatory practice letters addressing current developments, and speaking at outside seminars on capital related items
  • Take a lead role in the development and implementation of new offering methodologies specific to capital, balance sheet optimization and Basel II/III
  • Direct and support proposal and business development activities by identifying the firm's new target clients, building business relationships with key executives, and developing and presenting proposals
  • Deliver projects under the Model, Credit and Liquidity offering - projects will be focus on capital and other related sub offerings such as balance sheet optimization, capital planning, modeling and scenario analysis
  • Lead recruiting and retention efforts to develop the offerings


Qualifications:

  • Fifteen plus years of experience as an advisory professional including a combination of banking/financial services and consulting experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Strong understanding of US regulatory capital requirements including CCAR (Dodd Frank) and Basel II and III. Global knowledge a plus but US is preferred
  • Excellent business development and presentation skills
  • Previous management responsibilities and project management experience
  • Ability to travel out-of-town up to eighty percent of the time
