KPMG is currently seeking an US Manager, Safety and Emergency/Incident Programming to join our Enterprise Security Services Organization. This role is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply thorough understanding to provide consultancy and guidance in managing a comprehensive workplace safety and emergency/incident response program as it relates to KPMG operations in support of domestic and international business
  • Ensure workplace safety and emergency/incident response best practices and standards as appropriate based on firm risk tolerance and affordability
  • Manage risk management framework and implement processes in conjunction with other firm accountable stakeholders (such as Office of General Counsel, talent and culture, administration and Office Experience, real estate, and business leaders); develop and maintain appropriate learning and awareness offerings for general and specific sub audiences
  • Develop and provide training and coaching for all applicable stakeholders
  • Perform subject matter expertise reviews, facilitate tabletop exercises, support coordinated pro-active planning and incident response, and maintain other program related offerings to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory, client driven, and/or risk based internal policies
Qualifications:
  • Minimum eight years of recent experience in workplace safety and emergency/incident response is required; prior experience leading global workplace safety and emergency/incident response programs designed to address all hazards including natural disasters, pandemics, active assailant, and other potential workplace threats is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred
  • Global situational awareness with a strong understanding of the regulatory environments (such as, Occupational Safety and Health Administration) workplace safety and emergency/incident response required with experience in deploying and evaluating safety management systems
  • Substantial analytical and problem-solving experience combined with the flexibility to change priorities and respond quickly according to circumstances; confident operating in a matrixed organization and working cross-functionally with other leaders and teams
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills including those required for presentations on complex issues, selling ideas, gaining cooperation, influencing, and negotiating and proactive in identifying problem areas and innovative in developing new systems and implementing improved procedures
  • This position is fully remote based with the United States with five to ten percent travel based on periodic requirements to deliver the scope of services; applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa)
