SPA has a need for a Part-Time Navy Growth Strategy Consultant.



Responsibilities

Role:

    Review technical proposals for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Evaluate technical content, including methodologies, specifications, and deliverables, to ensure feasibility and alignment with project goals.

  • Provide detailed feedback and recommendations to improve proposal quality, focusing on technical accuracy and coherence.

  • Collaborate with proposal teams to clarify technical details and resolve discrepancies.

  • Ensure proposals adhere to formatting, style, and submission guidelines.

  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and sensitive client data.

  • Meet tight deadlines to support proposal submission schedules.



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, or related discipline) or equivalent experience

  • 10+ years of experience in proposal development/reviews

  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to evaluate complex information

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint)

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • Strong communication skills for providing clear, constructive feedback

  • Prior experience in proposal review or technical evaluation is preferred

  • Availability to work 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate proposal deadlines

  • Top Secret clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
