Sr. Director, Customer Insights

We are excited to add a Senior Director, Customer Insights to our Marketing team! The position will pay between $182,000-$272,000 base plus bonus and equity. Remuneration for this role will be based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.

Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Customer Insights is responsible for driving customer insights into actionable tactics to capture market growth and will coordinate market sizing, market share and market opportunities for all MIMEDX primary platforms and growth opportunities. Central point of contact for all departments involved in product launch and product lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify appropriate market research methods to satisfy objectives
• Responsible for developing alignment from internal and external stakeholders: Strategy, Projections, Roadmaps, Goals, Budget, Approvals, Field Input, Voice of Customers, Target Market, Positioning, Features, Pricing, Margins, Branding, Market Requirements, Keeping on Schedule, Executive Communication, etc.
• Coordinate market sizing, market share and market opportunities for all MIMEDX primary product platforms and for any market areas we choose to enter
• Deliver in-depth customer intelligence to understand key motivations and drivers in purchasing decisions
• Deliver in-depth patient insights to better understand how MIMEDX can position our offerings and drive patient demand for our products
• Working with relevant product managers, thoroughly understand the competitive landscape and identify areas in which MIMEDX can differentiate and add value
• Managing a team of market analysts that will deliver periodic market intel to senior leadership at MIMEDX
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally to help position new product and business development. Also will interface with finance to accurately cite market figures in necessary documents
• Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives.
• Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses
• Help bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development. Prepare ROI analysis
• Develop time-integrated plans with sales, marketing, and production
• Provide content for development of marketing materials, sales presentations and training programs
• Develop and maintain a physician evaluation team to gain insight into product pre and post launch
• Effectively manage relationships with vendors
• Attend scientific and clinical meetings to interface with customers and gather information on trends, products and discoveries affecting the product applications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in related field, plus 15 years healthcare experience. MBA preferred
• Strategic and Analytical background
• Previous experience with customer and patient insights
• Proven ability to identify and execute upon strategic opportunities, set aggressive objectives, and drive key business priorities

Skills/Competencies:

• Advanced Excel skills
• Advanced PowerPoint skills
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writings
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work is typically performed in a normal office environment. Role routinely uses standard office equipment. This position requires some travel as necessary.
