Overview

The Senior Manager, Community & Patient Programs will lead strategic initiatives designed to enhance patient engagement, elevate community presence, and drive brand impact through meaningful patient-centered programming. This role will manage our flagship Patient Ambassador Program, oversee sponsorship initiatives, and create compelling patient-driven content across digital and in-person channels. This individual will play a significant role on the US TTR Marketing Team in supporting the success of our brand strategy and execution, contributing to the development of comprehensive strategies, tactics, and messaging that align with our TTR franchise strategy and resonate with patients, caregivers and patient advocacy organizations. They will partner with individuals across the marketing team as well as with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and alignment between marketing initiatives and patient-facing activities.

The position will report to the Senior Director, US Patient Marketing and is located in Cambridge, MA with up to ~40% travel to educational events/conferences/patient engagements/training meetings/etc.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the strategy, recruitment, and management of the Patient Ambassador Program.

* Foster strong relationships with ambassadors to ensure alignment with brand values and goals.

* Coordinate ambassador training, communications, and programs.

* Develop and design patient-facing speaker decks and presentation materials for use in live and virtual patient programs, community events, webinars, and internal engagements.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and patients to ensure materials are educational, empowering, and on-brand.

* Drive the production of patient testimonial videos, educational content, and social media storytelling.

* Identify, negotiate, and execute sponsorship opportunities with patient advocacy organizations in alignment with PELs and PAE

* Lead the development of sponsorship materials, including assets, event collateral, and post-event reports.

* Contribute to strategy development, messaging, and tactics to support the overall brand strategy and execution across roles

* Align closely with Patient Engagement Liaisons, Patient Advocacy & Engagement, and Peer to Peer Education teams

* Collaborate with legal, regulatory, medical, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of all strategies and tactics

* Effectively manage and maintain relationships with Agency Partners

Qualifications

* BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred) with a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry. Advanced degree preferred.

* Proven experience in developing marketing strategies and managing patient or consumer engagement programs.

* Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.

* Excellent written, communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage external vendors/partners.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

* Experience in specialty products preferred

* Proven ability to influence without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of brand strategic imperatives
