Job Description:

As a part of the TPA Account Management Team, the Account Associate provides high touch service to the TPA Enterprise customers within the standard servicing best practice and in accordance with client agreements. The Account Associate works closely with Account Managers, Account Specialists and Business Solutions teams to ensure appropriate levels of service delivery, client satisfaction, and retention.

Responsibilities:



  • Work proactively to develop relationships with clients and brokers within the assigned book of business; achieve exceptional customer retention
  • Coordinate, prepare and facilitate claim reviews and standard stewardship reports in accordance with the client contract expectations
  • Create and maintain client Special Handling Instructions, Claims Team Rosters, client folders and all other client-related files in accordance with the established best practice
  • Utilize internal resources to create and deliver standard client reporting - scheduled and ad hoc, in accordance with client contract expectations
  • Responsible for troubleshooting client issues, questions, and complaints to achieve a positive resolution
  • Support new client transitions and client departures
  • Inform clients of new products and services available
  • Maintain operational procedure for new and existing clients, including all required internal data capture, information tracking, and form completion
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert on identified topics and solutions
  • Complete other projects as assigned
  • Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Previous management or sales experience strongly preferred
  • Basic, foundational insurance industry knowledge required; completion of PMA Claims Apprentice program strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with many functional areas of the organization as well as work independently
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word)

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology
