Casual On-Call, Day shift

Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, not-for-profit, community-based hospital in Bethesda, Maryland. The Clinical Technician (PCT) works as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with advanced training in specific clinical skills/competencies on the health care team.

• Periodically checks patients, takes vital signs, and observes condition of the patient and patient care equipment or devices.
• Provides personal care for patient including hygiene and physical comfort measures
• Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy
• Inserts IVs
• Measures and records intake and output
• Inserts and removes Foley catheters

Qualifications:

• Current Maryland CNA licensure is required.
• American Heart Association CPR/BLS certification is required.
• 2 years' patient care experience preferred.
• Experience with phlebotomy required
• Highschool diploma or GED is required.

Salary Range: Minimum 27.00/hour - Maximum 27.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
