Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of user experience strategies that align with business goals and user needs
- Oversee the creation and management of design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across products
- Provide expert guidance in UX consulting to optimize user interactions and enhance satisfaction
- Drive the design and implementation of responsive web designs that adapt seamlessly to various devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate information architecture into product design
- Utilize Figma and Adobe XD to craft visually appealing and functional user interfaces
- Conduct heuristic reviews to identify usability issues and recommend improvements
- Develop interaction designs that facilitate intuitive user experiences
- Implement UI design patterns that enhance usability and accessibility
- Ensure visual design elements are aligned with brand standards and user expectations
- Manage design system creation to support efficient product development processes
- Advocate for user-centered design principles in all stages of product development
- Evaluate and refine product design based on user feedback and analytics.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Experience Design POV and UX Consulting
- Demonstrate proficiency in design system management and creation
- Exhibit strong skills in Figma Adobe XD and UI design patterns
- Have a solid understanding of visual design elements and fundamentals
- Show expertise in heuristic review and information architecture
- Experience in interaction design and responsive web design is essential
- Domain knowledge in Finance & Accounting is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model and collaborate across teams
- Strong analytical skills to assess user feedback and improve design outcomes
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design strategies and solutions
- Proven track record of delivering successful product designs
- Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $142,500.00 to $165,000.00 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
