Department's Website: The Executive in Residence position for the Supply Chain Management Department is a non-tenure-track, teaching-focused position with a four-course teaching load each semester or 24 credit hours per year. Role responsibilities include delivering courses that draw from professional experience, serving as a mentor to students, offering career guidance and insights into industry practices and acting as a liaison between the university and industry, fostering partnerships and networking opportunities. This position will collaborate with faculty to develop curriculum or courses that reflect current trends and needs in the professional world and contribute to the design of experiential learning opportunities, such capstone projects or executive-level training programs. Appointments of executives in residence faculty may be for up to three years and can be renewed with successful completion of the initial appointment. Any term of appointment in excess of one year must be merit-based and meet all criteria and procedural requirements addressed above. Any appointment not fully satisfying all such requirements shall not exceed one year. Regular on-campus availability, in-person teaching, and active contribution to the life of the department, including exhibiting respect and cooperation in shared academic and administrative tasks are essential duties.
