Title: Nurse Practitioner CTICU Shift: Days/Nights (Rotations) Reporting to: JCMC Lead CTS NP, NBI Lead CTS NP, Director of CTICU Intensivists JCMC, Cardiac Surgery Chief Job Summary This position is responsible for performing duties independently following established and standardized procedures and methods set forth by the cardiac surgeon and the Cardiac Intensivists. The NP is responsible for ICU and step-down coverage. As well as, providing cardiac surgery/critical care through assessment, diagnosis, clinical judgment and management to restore, maintain and improve the health status of patients for hospitalized and outpatient Cardiac Surgery patients Essential Functions
Job Requirements Master s degree in Nursing Certification in Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Active license in the state of NJ BLS certification 1-2 Years experience in open heart surgery critical care preferred.
