Job Details
Position Summary Reports to Revenue Cycle Managerand/or Supervisor. Responsible for supporting management in maintaing, improving, processing, and evaluating billing and collections of accounts receivables for Health System and/or resolve complex payer issues to completion daily. Critical to this role is an intermediate understanding of hospital revenue cycle including registration, charge capture, billing, collection, utilization management, and account balance resolution. The Revenue Cycle Coordinator must demonstrate knowledge in billing and collection of at least one payer type's billing practices, with an understanding of additional insurance payer type's billing and collection practices including benefits eligibility, verification, and precertification. Location: 3910 Keswick Road, Baltimore, MD Hours: Days, 40 hours. Qualifications Knowledge:
Skills: Intermediate MS Office skills Strong organizational skills Clear and concise communicaiton style both in vertal and written form Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism Work Experience: 1-2 years' experience in hospital accounts receivables or patient accounts. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Salary Range: Minimum 18.59/hour - Maximum 30.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
