What You Will Do: As a IT/OT Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play an essential role within our Cybersecurity department, reporting to the Sr. Manager Enterprise Cyber Operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical assistance, design, installation, operation, service and maintenance of a variety of information security systems.
- Deploy and manage solutions that support information security including virus/malware detection, intrusion detection and prevention systems, firewalls, data loss prevention systems, security information and event systems.
- Monitor security controls.
- Conduct daily security monitoring activities.
- Work with key stakeholders and vendors to understand business and system requirements.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required. Or Equivalent work experience.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
- Minimum of three years' progressively responsible work experience, including substantial experience in Systems and Network Administration roles.
- Minimum of two years' progressively responsible work experience with security protocols, hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Experience in network infrastructure design and TCP/IP networking, router, and switch configuration, enterprise class firewalls - Cisco preferred.
- Experience with the following security systems:
- IDS/IPS
- SIEM
- Network Access Control
- Experience with administration of the following systems:
- Relational database (Oracle, SQL, Server) concepts including the use of SQL.
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Linux Operating Systems
- Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Network analysis tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Working knowledge of:
- IT/OT Risk Management processes and principles
- IT/OT Vulnerability Management processes
- Incident Response methodologies
- Network Security methodologies
- Must possess a valid Alaska Driver's License and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the ENSTAR's Driving Policy.
- Ability to pass a background, past employment, credit, drug, and driving record screening.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Excellent analytical, project management and organizational skills with the ability to evaluate data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively work with contractors, consultants, governmental agencies, and other departments/personnel to accomplish ENSTAR's objectives.
- Ability to manage and support multiple projects.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to make independent decisions based on available information.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and is open to take on a variety of operational challenges.
