RWJBH is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist at the New Brunswick campus, Morris Cancer Center,

This is a full time, day position,

Job Duties

Responsible to screen, assess and educate patients in oncology clinic setting and to facilitate exceptional communication with multidisciplinary team to ensure care throughout the continuum of oncology treatment,

Additionally responsible for full evaluation and treatment planning of patients in the outpatient setting,

Patient and family intervention for adult patients in assessment and treatment of dysphagia, speech and language disorders, cognitive disorders, and/or voice disorders,

Strong teamwork, communication and documentation skills required for intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary communication,

Previous oncology rehab experience strongly preferred,

Competence with MBSS preferred,

Requirements and Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech Pathology required,

Completion of Speech Pathology practicum hours required,

NJ Speech Language Pathology licensure required,

Certificate of Competency from the American Speech Language Hearing Association required,

Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association required,
