- Manage the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.
- Coordinate Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation and ensure adherence to internal and banking compliance standards.
- Maintain up-to-date bank account records and authorized signatory lists.
Cash & Liquidity Management (25%):
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure optimal liquidity across all agency bank accounts and entities.
- Forecast short-term and long-term cash flow needs, identifying trends and risks ensuring funding levels are maintained.
- Initiate fund transfers between bank accounts as required to meet operational needs.
- Assist with processing internal and external funds transfers.
- Ensure adequate funding for payroll, vendor payments, and other obligations.
Banking & Financial Operations (10%):
- Maintain relationships with banking partners and support bank account administration.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new banking platforms and services.
- Ensure compliance with banking covenants and reporting requirements.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to bank transactions.
Financial Reporting & Analysis (25%):
- Prepare, analyze and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly cash treasury reports.
- Support the month-end closing process by reconciling treasury-related and investment accounts.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to liquidity and debt management.
- Analyze investment performance and make recommendations for optimization.
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for senior management and external stakeholders.
Risk Management & Compliance (10%):
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal controls over cash management.
- Monitor the use of cash against policy guidelines and make appropriate recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and audit requirements.
Projects & Process Improvement (20%):
- Participate in treasury system upgrades or implementations including creation of processes and software reporting development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline treasury processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and treasury strategy development as assigned by the CFO.
Job Specifications Minimum Required
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
- Experience:
- 3 years' work experience in Treasury, Corp Finance or Banking ideally at the analyst or senior analyst level.
- Solid understanding of bank account administration, cash management, and reporting processes.
- Familiarity with KYC processes and international regulatory requirements.
- Professional/Technical Certifications: n/a
- Technical Requirements:
- Proficient in the use of computerized treasury, accounting, and financial planning systems.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and software tools.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and apply formulas.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
