Nissha Medical Technologies is looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance Team in Colorado Springs! This position will support the Accounting Department with the full management of all Accounts Payable Activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC DUTIES: Follow Employee guidelines and Quality System Regulations as defined by Nissha Medical Technologies practices, policies and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure that customer requirements and industry standards and or regulations are met. Demonstrates knowledge and acts in accordance with NMT's Employee Guidelines and applicable quality standards as outlined in NMT's Quality Manual. Review electronic invoices and perform full cycle A/P transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment processing. Partner with Purchasing and Materials teams to resolve invoice or payment issues and maintain timely follow-ups and workflow challenges. Accurately prepare all batches for checks and ACH file disbursement. Maintain up-to-date and well-organized documentation of accounts payable transactions for compliance and audit purposes. Support month end, year-end close and ad-hoc processes including account reconciliations of cash advances, petty cash accounts, prepayments and prepare all accounts payable related year-end audit work papers. Perform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries. Adhere to corporate reporting timelines. Regular attendance is required. Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 4+ years of Accounts Payable experience, experience in a high-volume setting preferred. Practical knowledge of accounting payable management. Analytical skills to review general ledger accounts, explain variances, and present details contributing to the variances Value-adding attitude when assisting the controller and other accountants with timely and accurate information about the financial health of the company Strong mathematical skills Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Oracle Experience preferred Excellent communication skills Nissha Medical Technologies is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay rate for this position is $58,000-$65,000 per year (USD) paid on a bi-weekly basis. The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
