About the Job

The Fellow will advance the development of graduate, interdisciplinary, sustainability leadership education, including the growth, promotion, and implementation of the SESG Certificate.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote SESG certificate with current students and external audiences
  • Mentor SESG students and other students interested in careers in ESG and sustainability leadership
  • Together with HHI staff and U of MN Foundation, help raise money to support sustainability leadership education and research
  • Assist in the development of course curriculum for SESG program
  • Attend meetings and conferences at the direction of Director of SESG program
  • Teach a core leadership course in the SESG Program
  • Develop a 1 credit, online course in sustainability regulatory policy
  • Research SESG related topics
  • Take on special projects as assigned by SESG program director
  • Assist in developing networking opportunities and programs that strengthen connections among SESG Leadership program participants and graduates
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience working in sustainability or ESG field
  • Experience with writing white papers and thought leadership in the SESG space
  • Strong network of leaders working in the SESG field
  • Strong communications and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience teaching sustainability or ESG in higher education

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $55,000 - $56,000 annually depending on education/qualifications/experience

Time Appointment Category: 50%-74% Appointment

Position Type: Faculty and P&A Staff
