About the Job

Provide support to the Certificate in Election Administration faculty.

  • Position will assist faculty with Canvas course set up and provide administrative and teaching support during the summer session.
  • Position works with faculty member(s) to finalize CEA canvas courses, including updates to dates, readings, assignments, etc.
  • Provides administrative support of the canvas site for the CEA instructors and students during the summer term including managing live zoom sessions and posting recordings, assisting with course applications, and providing general student support for the canvas platform.
  • Provides teaching support to CEA faculty including tracking student participation in group discussions, grading quizzes and assignments according to established grading rubrics, and grade entry.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience with Canvas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with the Certificate in Election Administration Program at the Humphrey School.
  • Experience working with and supporting adjunct faculty.
  • Experience with teaching and course support.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour
