'Information Assurance Specialist

Amyx is seeking to hire an Information Assurance Specialist to join our DOD client at Ft. Meade, MD.

Create Vulnerability Assessment (VA) reports, Threat Risk Profile, and Critical Low Severity Analysis.
• Use tracking tool provided by the Government to document the progress of each VA as it moves through the stages of the VA process.
• Develop VA reports and the Cybersecurity Assurance Level (CAL).
• Provide a long-range Vulnerability Assessment assignment/scheduling document (Future's List) that shall be used to announce and track VA reports through the approval process.

Required:

• 5 years experienced in Vulnerability Assessment
• Knowledgeable in Cybersecurity Assurance Level (CAL).
• DoD 8570 IAM/IAT Level III certification. This will change to a DoD 8140 equivalent once a DISA 8140 policy is released
• Secret Clearance

Desired:

• Demonstrate experience develop technical papers describing ISs security configuration and implementation strategies and compliance issues identified during analysis for coordination with the appropriate Industry Partners, PMs, Services, and Agencies.
• Demonstrate experience providing a tracking summary detailing the progress of Critical Low Severity Analysis and FAs, and VAs.
