Save the Children For over 100 years, Save the Children has been fighting for the rights of children. The right to a healthy start in life. To have access to education. To be in a safe environment, protected from harm. We work in some of the world's hardest-to-reach places - over 100 countries, including the U.S. No matter what your role is, when you join Save the Children, you're creating positive, irreversible change for children, and the future we all share. The Role As the THINKMD Learning Study Fellow, you'll be integral to our work in helping vulnerable children achieve a brighter future. In this study, we are introducing THINKMD, a digital clinical decision support tool designed to enhance healthcare providers' ability to assess children and babies attending health clinics in line with the globally recognized Integrated Management of Newborn and Child Illnesses (IMNCI) guidelines. By assisting in diagnosis, treatment, and referral decisions, THINKMD aims to strengthen health service delivery as well as to ensure quality of child health care. Additionally, the platform collects health data that can be leveraged for M&E purposes, supporting both frontline healthcare workers and district-level health managers in making informed decisions. This proposed study aims to evaluate THINKMD's mHealth tool for its accuracy and effectiveness as an electronic clinical decision support tool used by health care providers for enhancing quality of health care delivered to under 5 children in Sierra Leone impact on improving healthcare quality in Sierra Leone. Specifically, it will assess whether THINKMD this tool enhances health facility staff's ability to diagnose and treat patients faster and in accordance with standard care and whether district and facility leaders can use THINKMD-generated data for more effective decision-making.
