  • Model Development: Design and refine vision-language models (VLMs) and diffusion-based generative frameworks tailored for medical imaging and report synthesis.
  • Medical Image Analysis: Lead projects in extracting, interpreting, and modeling clinical imaging data across modalities (e.g., CT, MRI, PET).
  • Multimodal Integration: Combine image data with corresponding radiology text reports using advanced natural language understanding techniques to build end-to-end diagnostic pipelines.
  • Dynamic Imaging Analysis: Develop and optimize algorithms for time-resolved imaging data, including cardiac cine MRI and dynamic contrast-enhanced series.
  • Computational Infrastructure: Deploy and maintain high-performance computing environments (GPU clusters, cloud services) for large-scale image-text experimentation.
  • Data Engineering: Establish workflows for automated data curation, including image de-identification, report parsing, and metadata normalization.
  • Software Engineering: Write modular, scalable code in modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) with an emphasis on reproducibility and performance.
  • Scholarly Output: Produce high-quality research suitable for publication in top-tier conferences (e.g., MICCAI, NeurIPS) and peer-reviewed journals.
  • Grant Development: Assist in the preparation of independent and collaborative research proposals aimed at securing extramural funding.
  • Collaborative Research: Work closely with radiologists, computational scientists, and biomedical engineers on translational imaging projects.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior team members in research methods, coding practices, and scientific communication.
  • Project Oversight: Coordinate multiple research initiatives simultaneously, tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Validation and Benchmarking: Implement rigorous evaluation protocols to ensure model fidelity, clinical relevance, and reproducibility.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate technical results and research progress to collaborators, sponsors, and broader scientific audience
