Production Painter

Staffmark is seeking a skilled Production Painter to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Trussville, AL. In this role, you'll apply high-quality paint finishes to metal components using both automated and manual spray equipment. Pay: $22-$30 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Friday | 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Apply paint, varnish, and other coatings using automatic and manual spray systems
• Set up and operate automated paint booths and spray equipment
• Perform touch-up painting in hard-to-reach areas using spray guns
• Mix paints and solvents according to specifications
• Ensure proper prep and finish of all parts before and after painting
• Monitor and maintain paint booths, filtration, and spray equipment
• Manually move parts through painting, flashing, and drying sections
• Conduct quality checks and correct any defects in finished products
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure all painting equipment is functioning properly

Qualifications:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable wearing a respirator and protective gear
• Must pass pulmonary function and respirator fit tests
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality results
• Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Self-motivated and dependable
