Overview

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world's leading conservation organizations, seeks a Freshwater Science-based Targets Graduate Intern.



Responsibilities

    Liaise with other hubs on behalf of the Freshwater Hub across various processes that require cross-cutting network coordination, including strategy & operations, technical development, corporate & partner engagement, communications, and supporting activities (e.g., Q&A).
  • Support development and updates of Freshwater Hub workplans and track budget.
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of Freshwater Hub deliverables and activities.
  • Host regular Freshwater Hub meetings, develop the agenda, and send post-meeting action items.
  • Support integration of freshwater metrics across the WWF network.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in the natural sciences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate science into practice
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Experience with grant administration

Location: Washington, D.C. or US Remote - WWF employs interns in all states with the exception of: Hawaii, Idaho, Kentucky, Nevada, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Wyoming.
