The Manager of Clinical Communication oversees VCU Health Systems Clinical Communication systems, including Ascom, Vocera, Maas360, Intune,cell phone device and plan management, alert, and alarm integration engines and Rauland integration, video teleconferencing, and telehealth support. This role will help develop and implement the strategies set forth by the clinical communications steering committee, focusing on integrated communications, and creating workflows integrated with existing or new clinical communication technologies. The Manager of Clinical Communication provides leadership and direction for the mobility services and video teleconferencing teams in addition to planning and managing all clinical communication technology platforms. This role also partners with various functional VCU Health teams and IT departments to support the strategic vision and mission.

Employment Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field from an accredited program. Related certification preferred Licensure/Certification Required:N/A Licensure/Certification Preferred:N/A Combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree will be accepted. Minimum Qualifications Years and Type of Required Experience Five (5) years' experience in relevant IT field. Two (2) years' supervisory experience. Two (2) years' experience working with Clinical Systems experience preferred. Seven (7) years' experience in relevant IT field and five years of leadership experience preferred.
