The Investment Assistant will provide administrative support to Portfolio Managers on the Investment Management team.They will assure the accurate, efficient, and timely processing of activities in these areas through proper planning and scheduling. Gather information and compiles reports, and may make recommendations for managers, based upon data/findings. Develop and document procedures for all activities.

This person will also:

  • Communicate professionally across all levels in alignment with the company brand and customer promise. Prepares and edits various documents (e.g., reports, memos, emails, project materials). Solves complex problems and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong command of English language and proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); able to quickly learn new systems. Skilled with office equipment (fax, scanner, copier, videoconferencing tools).

  • Provides general clerical support, including accepting, preparing and delivering mail, ordering office supplies, event planning, scheduling conference rooms and meeting coordination, calendar administration and appointment scheduling, assist colleague requiring traveling offices/workstations, ensuring office equipment is properly maintained, assisting with new colleague set-up, or other clerical/administrative projects.

  • Answers and directs incoming calls appropriately.

  • Independently manages small, complex projects, including task planning, goal setting, resource coordination, timeline management, and budgeting. May delegate tasks and oversee project progress with limited supervision.

  • May mentor or train department colleagues.

  • In some locations, welcomes and logs visitors, issues access badges, and ensures guests are directed or escorted appropriately.

Education

  • High School Required

Experience

  • 4-7 years Banking or Administrative Office experience. Required
