This position is essential in creating and managing digital content that increases and enhances the college's online presence, and engages our diverse community. This role requires a strong understanding of web design principles, user experience, and digital marketing strategies, as well as a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through digital media. As a Media Production Design Analyst, you will work on creating engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos, and interactive elements that align with the college's mission and goals; are accurate, timely, accessible, aesthetically appealing; and perform well in terms of analytics. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments and faculty divisions to ensure that the college's web and digital content is informative, accessible, and visually appealing. Using the Drupal platform, the position will be responsible for ensuring that the college website meets ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility standards and will implement and maintain best practices for accessibility across all digital content. The position will utilize analytics tools to track website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates; generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and optimize digital strategies; and continuously monitor and improve SEO performance. In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service, communication and collaboration abilities, as they will be working closely with faculty, staff, and students to gather content and feedback. Essential Functions 50% - Website Content, Management and Updates The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments and faculty divisions to ensure that the college's web and digital content is informative, accessible, and visually appealing. Using the Drupal platform, the position will be responsible for ensuring that the college website meets ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility standards and will implement and maintain best practices for accessibility across all digital content. The position will utilize analytics tools to track website performance, user engagement, and conversion rates; generate reports and insights to inform decision-making and optimize digital strategies; and continuously monitor and improve SEO performance. 40% - Multimedia Content Creation Work on creating engaging multimedia content, including graphics, videos (long form, short form, social media), and interactive elements that align with the college's mission and goals; are accurate, timely, accessible, aesthetically appealing; and perform well in terms of analytics. 10% - Customer Service In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer service, communication and collaboration abilities, as they will be working closely with faculty, staff, and students to gather content and feedback. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in graphic design or related field and two (2) years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns. OR Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution in graphic design or related field and four (4) years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns. OR Highschool Diploma/GED and six (6) years of professional journey level experience in developing, planning and implementing creative visual design projects and campaigns. NOTE: One (1) year of work experience is equivalent to 2,080 hours worked. Therefore, employment must be indicated as full-time or part-time on the resume to determine applicant qualifications. Desired Qualifications A. Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite B. Knowledge of and experience with motion graphics software such as After Effects or Motion C. Experience with videography/video editing, including compression techniques, codecs, using audio beds D. Experience with content management systems (CMS) E. Strong understanding of web design principles, UX/UI best practices, and SEO techniques Special Working Conditions May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor; some evening or weekend work may be required.
